Compliance services

Are you a registered compliance officer?

Yes. ComplyEeze is led by a registered and experienced compliance officer with over 20 years of experience in the South African financial services sector.

What legislation do you provide assistance with?

We provide support for:

  • FAIS (Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act)
  • NCR (National Credit Act)
  • FICA (Financial Intelligence Centre Act)
  • POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act)

We also offer guidance on other legislation as needed (e.g., Financial Markets Act) based on your regulatory universe.

How do I get started?

Start by booking a free 30 minute intro call. We’ll discuss your business needs and provide a tailored proposal with a service agreement.

Is this a once-off or ongoing service?

While we occasionally assist with once-off services like license applications, most clients engage us on a monthly retainer basis for ongoing compliance support.

Do you offer once-off consulting or hourly sessions?

Yes. You can book a 30-minute consulting session to ask specific compliance or training-related questions.

How much does it cost?

Our pricing depends on the complexity of your business. We’ll outline everything clearly in your proposal after your intro call.

How often will I hear from you?

As often as you need. While we offer quarterly monitoring, clients are welcome to reach out for advice or questions any time.

Live compliance training 

What live training do you offer?

We offer virtual, interactive live trainings for:
  • RE1 (Key Individuals) 2 days
  • RE3 (Fund Managers) 1 day
  • RE4 (LISPs) 1 day
  • RE5 (Representatives) 2 days
  • FICA Awareness Training 3 hours
  • POPI Training 3 hours

Are these sessions online or in-person?

Workshops are conducted online via Teams. In-person sessions can be arranged for private group bookings.

Are the workshops interactive?

Yes! Sessions are capped at a small number of participants to keep things personal, engaging, and allow for Q&A.

Do I need to buy training material separately?

No, the live training pricing includes all required material.

Will I get a certificate after the training?

A Certificate of Completion is issued for FICA and POPI trainings.

For RE trainings, we prepare you to write the regulatory exam but do not issue certification (the regulator does that after you pass your exam).

Can I book a training session for my team?

Yes! We offer private training tailored to your team’s needs and schedule. Please email learning@complyeeze.co.za to make a request.

Self-paced courses

What’s included in a self-paced course?

Our self-paced courses include:
  • Digital PDF manuals
  • Insight video lessons explaining key topics
  • Multiple-choice mock exams for RE courses

Do self-paced courses include live sessions?

No, but you can book a 1:1 add-on session if you'd like personalised support or explanation of specific topics.

Can I access the material instantly?

Yes. Once you purchase the course, you'll receive and email to finish creating your account and then you will receive immediate access to the online portal and materials.

Can I still book live training after buying a self-paced course?

Yes! Many learners combine the two, using the self-paced course to study and the live training for reinforcement and Q&A.

Will I get a certificate after the course?

A Certificate of Completion is issued for FICA and POPI trainings.

For RE trainings, we prepare you to write the regulatory exam but do not issue certification (the regulator does that after you pass your exam).

Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Points

What are CPD points?

Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points, are mandatory points that Financial Services Providers (FSPs) earn by completing accredited training activities.

These points are accumulated to maintain and improve their skills and knowledge and ensure they are able to perform their roles competently. 

Can I get CPD points when I do a course through ComplyEeze?

Yes, you can get CPD points with some of our training courses.

You can find our CPD approved courses listed under the CPD course section on the course page of our website.

Please note that not all our courses are CPD approved. 

Is ComplyEeze a CPD approved training provider?

Yes, ComplyEeze is an accredited CPD provider and is recognised through the Financial Planning Institute (FPI) with CPD approval number 19053600.

Will I get a certificate to confirm the CPD points for the course I completed?

Yes, if you complete one of our CPD approved courses, the certificate we issue will indicate that course approval as well as the CPD points you earned.

How many CPD points are ComplyEeze courses?

The amount of CPD points accredited for each course will be stated on the relevant course page. You can find our CPD accredited courses here.
